About Dr. Karly Kaplan

My specialties are Counseling and Psychology dissertations, but I can help with any dissertation project in the Arts and Humanities.
I began my writing career in 1994 when I researched and cowrote a chapter in Play in Family Therapy. Since then I have been involved in several writing projects in the United States and Europe.
At the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, I was the first student in my PsyD cohort to finish my dissertation, The power of two: A group curriculum for 8-11-year-old girls and their mothers to prevent body image dissatisfaction. I completed the dissertation in 9 months, while attending school full time, working a part-time job, and doing an internship at the same time. My dissertation was completed in 2007.
I am a licensed psychologist in Washington and California, as well as a dissertation and thesis coach. My psychology practice is based in Seattle, but I do dissertation and thesis coaching with students nationwide. For more information about my psychology practice, please visit:
